I have just finished the sewing box I bought a while ago. I've painted it cream and lined it with Laura Ashley 'Abbeville' paper.

Hopefully I will someday get around to doing my own one! He must be very jealous of his friend's new makeover! He is going to be sold (fingers crossed) but I'm off to a car boot tomorrow so will no doubt find another to jump the queue.
I made this flower pincushion too with some of my CK fabric samples I had lying around. I'm quite pleased with it for my first attempt at this design.

ReplyDeleteooh, what a lovely blog. I will return when I have more time. I'm loving what I see.
ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper came from ...... (insert a drumroll) ... B&Q! Yep, that's right. Good old B&Q. I saw it advertised in the spring and said 'that's it, that's exactly what I want'. It's called 'Arthouse Vintage Nicky Rose Wallapaper' Cheaper than Cath and Laura, but along those lines. A bargain at £16.98 per roll.
